Noted Chicago investor Sam Zell does things in a big way. One example is the e-card that he sent out for the New Year (you can play it here), which starts with the sober title of "The Theory of Relativity" and a few words from Mr. Zell, then segues into a rewrite of "Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head," brought up to date to describe a current problem that Mr. Zell faces. The problem is that he has too much liquidity — too much capital. We should all be so unfortunate, but Mr. Zell is obviously dealing with it in good humor.
