A friend told me a story this week, which he says happened in Portland some years ago. (Please don’t spoil his enjoyment, and mine, by checking it out with Snopes.)
An elderly woman was slowly maneuvering her large Cadillac into a parking space in a Northwest Portland parking lot when a Porsche zipped in from the other direction and took the space. When the driver got out of the Porsche, she called at him, "I was about to park in that space. How could you do that to me?" He cheerfully replied, "Because I’m young and fast," and turned away.
He heard the noise of crunching metal and glass, and turned back to see the woman’s Cadillac bashing into the back of his Porsche, not once, but several times. He cried out at her, "How could you do that!" To which she sweetly answered, "Because I’m old and rich," and drove off.
